any teenage engineering instruments vs Caustic 3 mobile

its funny how the teenage engineering company sells its over priced instruments for $500 or plus, and all its instruments are way more limited to make music then Caustic 3 is, which its just $10,,, for example the teenage engineering op z, op 1 and its pocket operator series,
first of all the op-1 which cost $1,300 and it only got 4 instruments tracks plus with a Storage memory: 512 MB Nand Flash storage for samples and a
Oscillator: 1 DCO per voice; (pulse, saw, square) that's all, and the work flow its not so user friendly,,,
when Caustic got 12 instruments and 14 tracks with 64/8 bars patterns each, and when it comes to the sampler, its almost unlimited, for how many samples you can used for a complete song,
my point is that you can do way way way more and be way way way more creative in Caustic for $10,,, when op-1 its $1,300 and you cant be as creative because op-1 plus op-z and all the pocket operator series are way way way more limited then caustic is, i mean its would be stupid to think that any over price teenage engineering instruments are better then Caustic 3,
plus i also think the same about MPC's vs Caustic 3 mobile

ah understand. However I agree with your speech. Caustic is worth far more than it seems.

iOS in general

If you want to compare caustic to op-1 or any hardware, why not start by comparing op-1 to iPad. They cost about the same but think about what you can do with an iPad. All the thousands of apps, the incredible sounds, etc. OP-1 is nothing compared to iPad. Caustic is just one app.
I ask the same questions all the time. A lot of people love hardware. I tell them to,buy a few midi controllers and you have your hardware setup. There is some incredible hardware music making devices that are definitely worthwhile but my advice for a beginner is to save up for an iPad Pro 12.9 and an ipad  air 2 and you will have the central components of a studio. Of course you still need connectors, interface(s) etc. Purchase Caustic plus a few other apps that you can discover by reading blogs etc, and are complete. Or buy an op-1 or op-z and be tired of it pretty soon.
but, again each to his own. Some people thrive on hardware for reasons I don't get. My fave word is hybrid. I like to have whatever can add to my ability to make music. So I have a laptop too and an audio interface(iConnectaudio4+) that has a port for an iOS device, another port for a laptop and ankther for a powered hub so,I can connect many many pieces of gear via USB MIDI.
