That depends on your cpu and OS.. On my iPad 2017 and on my Nokia 5 (Android 9) smartphone Caustic is snappy.. no noticeable latency..
I checked in app configurations and if I put the value "high", latency and 3. 3 stand for milliseconds in the latency?
Yeah well I meant on the technical level. However, I am updated to Android 9 too. I have a Samsung galaxy j6.
I think it was mentioned before that caustic latency is fixed to 30 milliseconds. But that doesn't mean that everything works that way.
I think it's starts on 30 milliseconds goes up to 300 milliseconds. I am not sure when this was mentioned but I am sure that at that point caustic 3.2 was in beta state.

Just use IOS devices and your problems will disappear. Latency is mostly a problem of the device, not the app. Caustic is so well coded. It works well in every way. I love it and have had it since the days of blackberry playbook. Android is great but not so much for music making.
Maybe I didn't explain myself well, how much is the latency value within caustic? I mean in the source code.
@perrydrew, for what I need, an Ipad is simply useless.
It's not something that can be measured. What machine are you using? How many voices? How many FX are you running it through? Are you using desk EQ? Are you sending it to a modsynth input module? And so on. Every step you take will add more latency.
They replied yesterday. Thank you all.
