I wasn't setting out to create a song, I was trying to learn more about FM synthesis. Using the FMsynth, I started making sounds and they started making this song. The real point was learning more about the sounds you can create with FMsynth. There are no presets used in this song. Every sound was created from zero. I didn't use any FX in this track so that you can hear the FM sounds clean. A small amount of EQ and a tiny bit of reverb, plus mastering, is all that touched it. You can definitely create a lot of different sounds with FM and only a few of what I came up with made it to this song.
