Midi controller/mixer chat.

Hey, lets start a thread about midi controllers and midi mixers. What is your experience? Which ones do you use with caustic? Which ones have you tried?

I use the AKAI mini mpc Mk 3.

I use the AKAI mini mpc Mk 3.

Its all right, it works, there are pads, there are knobs, sadly no sliders.

It is worth the low price though,

I also used a Yamaha PSRs-670 but it just happens to have a midi port, its mainly a keyboard but it has increadible speakers, stereo subwoofers and that

Livid DS1 works, but only one

Livid DS1 works, but only one of the buttons triggers c1. I may be able to change that with the manufacturers software, but I have not tried. I was looking for something small, portable, with 6-8 knobs, 4 or so faders, maybe some buttons/pads to trigger notes. I do not want a pianno style keyboard.

I have got a Korg nanoKONTROL

I have got a Korg nanoKONTROL 2. It works well with Caustic, but do not install a new Midi driver.

The device looks a bit like a mixer, but the faders and knobs can be assigned freely (e.g. to cutoff and resonance in SubSynth). The mute/solo/record buttons can be mapped to trigger the 8 beatbox samples.
