This is the first full track I've made using C3. I've been busy of late so have been biding my time, playing with the new machines and effects.
I used 13 machines for this one:
1xPCM
3xBeatbox
1x8Bit
1xPadSynth
1xModular
1xVocoder
2xFM Synth
1xSubSynth
2xBassline
I'm loving the new insert reverb and delay effects! In my opinion the sound quality you can get out of Caustic now is right up there with best big DAWs.
I love the melody, very minimal but reminds me of some surf music I played on my strat years ago with the palm muting reverb stuff. :) hehe
I agree witht he DAW sound, my dream... I will eventually make a Caustic Core DAW for the desktop to parralell the awsome sound engine..
I am already hard at work at my Groove Station step sequencer production studio(step sequencers) for Android.

It's my intention to start developing a couple of game ideas soon, so I thought I'd start making some good music for the levels (hence the minimal melody).
Looking forward to your core apps Mike, they promise a great deal!
Hey, if you are ever up for a side project game or something, I would have time to help out, I guess if it was open source or something. I am going to be doing a couple fun games down the road as well. LibGDX is perfect for pretty intense 2d games.
I've used Unity and dabbled with Unreal Engine but I really don't like those over blown virtual reality games, I love the 2d side scrollers and stuff. LibGDX has a good particle engine and they have a really talented dev bringing in 3D.
Mike
Me too.... I enjoy multiple layer (fake 3D) screen scrollers anytime over 3D maps.... I'll keep an eye on you and you about that in the future.....
Bojeroo nice track and full of animation, so much more flexebility over C2 no doubt.
Thanks Jason. I love those type of games too. I also like games which morph with the music that's playing, makes it very immersive. That's what I had in mind here.
Woah, sweet track! Your mixing skills are top notch! I like the subtle use of the organ. Nice work!
A race/drive game? Your track would fit well for this kind of game.
Thanks Mekanism, the organ is the tonewheel preset on the PadSynth. Nice new profile pic btw!
Could be an option, haven't decided yet! ;oD
I didn't realize you could get sound like that from the padsynth, very nice. For the avatar....product of writer's block hehe!
