Record Loopstack onto PC for video?

Ok so I am a total audio noob, but I purchased Loopstack after coming across it on the Market and loving its usefulness.  So all I am wondering now is how I can make a video where I record the audio from Loopstack onto my PC during a video for like Youtube.  I have an audio splitter and i'm assuming one end will have my headphones and the other should go into the MIC spot on my PC?  Any help is really appreciated.

Yes, you can use a splitter

Yes, you can use a splitter or you could route Lopstack's output to mic/line in, turn on the mic in the playback mixer and plug your headphones into your soundcard's speaker output.

Awesome, sounds easy enough.

Awesome, sounds easy enough.  But one last noob question, lol.  So once i've recorded the Loopstack audio with something on my PC, how do I get it into the video i'm recording with my camera as i'm creating the Loopstack beat/singing?  Is that something I do separately to join them together?

That's probably easiest and

That's probably easiest and that's what I did for the promo video you might have seen.

Most video editors will show you the audio waveform so it should be easy enough to line it up. Plus your eyes and ears are pretty good at spotting small differences in sync between the audio and video.

Wouldn't it be easier though,

Wouldn't it be easier though, to export your sound or mix to a Wav file, and then attach that to your video before you send to YT?  I think would retain optimum audio quality for your project?

That's how I did it when I used LoopStack for a few projects like that before... yes, it is a really nifty app, and fun too when your younger kids get their hands on it... cool
