This is pretty simple, no automation and i basically have no talent, but it is share and tell :) Now off to listen to the real music here!
Hey for your first Caustic track, you managed well. Way better than my first creation..... my first was very sad and embarrasing!
Welcome to the group and keep on digging into it, youll figure it out soon enough.
keep it up Braj. Most of us learnt what we know from just tinkering.
Ha! This is not my first track unfortunately, just the first shared here, just I'm too lazy to do any automation, and finish anything properly, plus that whole talent thing has me beat :)
Good vibes, reminded me of dub, really enjoyed that tune, coul be longer. Better than what I got so far, but I'm just a hobbyist. Maybe I'll try and post something down the line, but I don't do facebook, so I can't use soundcloud (I think).
I think you can create a Soundcloud account without Facebook, that should just be one way of logging in AFAIK.
I don't FB nor TW, but I have SC...... just set up with an email and you're GTG... example: www.soundcloud.com/eipstudios
Thanks, tried using the soundcloud app and that turned out to be a frustrating waste of time. Don't have anything against FB or TW, both just seem pointless to me. Will have a busy few weeks at work though, so it'll be a while. I only just started using Caustic and not as talented as you guys, but that's not really an issue I think.
I found SC on mobile very hard to figure out, and then I stumbled onto it...... uploaded the music file from my phone by interacting with the music file itself...... it then used the SC uploader whatever and did it. Downside is that it uploaded WAV and not MP3...... don't know much about OGG, it doesnt seem to be a popular format? yet? or maybe I need to catch up with the times...
I use my laptop to upload to SC. Just plug my phone in, transfer files across and upload after converting to MP3, and I don't have a facebook account. I don't like the mobile version of SC
Looked around yesterday and using the app I did manage to create an account and upload a file. The app only has this big red REC button though, no Choose files, but downloading it makes it possible to upload files when in My files on the phone (took me two hours to figure that out). It's easier and clearer to just a laptop though. BTW the file I uploaded sucks. Think in a few weeks I try for some minimalistic (but not too repetitive) acid, been listening a lot to the first couple of Plastikman albums (Sheet One, Musik).
I used DropBox to upload my track file, would highly recommend as you can upload any file type.
Just force your phone or tablet and uses the full-version website. This is why I don't use most phone apps, when I can simply go to their website anyway..... alot of website-to-phone apps are nothing but spyware-advertising portals, not very good for security of your personal data
Yep, full site is easiest. I'm not that high on privacy issues, people will probably get bored as hell looking into my life, as long as my credit card is safe.
