@CausticReplay, It appears Bidzo made his riff in the key of C, your bassline looks to be in F. It sounds off to me but I'm a noob when it comes to theory so maybe I'm wrong but now the 2 tracks are out of key correct?
You're not tone def, Mekanism. You certainly noticed something, but it's not key related. The second chord of Bidzo pattern, on meas2, is a C (first being Am), and in the same time, the bass is playing a F note. It's not the root note for C chord, but this is more interresting! It sounds like a FM9 and add a new flavor to the track.
Dude the Modular Synth can make some reallly cool stuff there..... I'll make a video to walk you through how to make some nasty noise with it. I love it.
I didn't want to do the beatbox, but it was already getting pretty heavy. I also named all the machines according to their creator. It adds a splash of organization. :) Oh and thx bojeroo, that was thoughtful, didn't see your comment til later. I was wondering why the drums fit in so perfet ha.
I'm curious if when this is completed at least one of each of the machine types will have been used. I'm not trying to steer the development here, as using all the machine types wasn't required when we started, just sharing what I'm thinking.
I think South African and Greek for two, not so sure about everyone else although I'm still convinced Wardini is secretly European - I don't believe he's really an American
Pan is Scandinavian but not sure he grabbed a slot in time Just checked - he did
ok i built up a big pad by layering 3 differnt machines and a bunch of effects exported the sound to wav brought back into a pcmsynth, automated filter cut off and added some chorus and delay and reverb (noob sauce) ..its adds some nice depth in the background to various parts of the track....i actually started it yesterday before number 7 was done with his part....so i had to copy my patterns.
OOps... My machine has to be turned up to 75%. I accidentaly put it at 40%. ( while 50% is the middle/ 12 o'clock, tune it to 3 or 4 o'clock Gharwen pls.)

You can transpose PCMSynth presets, and still make your pattern in key of C......
So far it sounds good to me from what I've peeked at so far....
Damn, I hope im not becoming tone def or something! My ears have been off today though so hopefully that is it.

You guys are gonna love my little bit. Not so much in key as in noise, hope it's okay and I like to leave a bit of a challenge for the final mix ;-{)
Over to you mniip, hope I haven't broken it to badly.

Oh...Ah...
I just know the basics in note transponations (what is major ["dur"] or minor ["moll"]).
When I make music I just make it because of feeling. And when I add a track I will experiment till it sounds good for me...

Oh yeah, this is shaping up very nicely...... I'm already playing around with things on it already......
This is just sooooo sweeet.
We're making history, people.
at #4 Song is at 2:52........ very good so far...
Yep, the part from mniip is great. I love this kind of arp-style in combination with insert delay.
I have some ideas, too. I'm curious if that still fit when I'm at the range.

I wanted to do the same, but you know, curiosity and the cat...
So here is my contribution-
Was in between a clean bell type of sound or a nasty 8 bit sound but well in the end a sligthly dirty bell from the presets of the PCM synth...
Hey Jason- If the pitch vibration in the end of my contribution do not work out in the mix you un-automate it and I promise to not get upset...

OK here we go! Seeing as Tryinosaurus really wanted to do the drums, I though I'd add some nasty bass to compliment caustic replay's contribution.
You're up Mr T!

Ok that is getting mean...
It's a term of endearment in the UK!
Ah ok, some ways in the US it can be seen as the "the annoying asshole that won't shut up".

I'm curious what nationalities we have represented in the final 15. I know we have UK and US, what else do we have?
I think South African and Greek for two, not so sure about everyone else although I'm still convinced Wardini is secretly European - I don't believe he's really an American

Skarabee = Canadian?

Yup I'm from Sweden
Skarabee lives in New Caledonia (South Pacific) and I think Frank (Musical Android) is from spain.
Wow, I thought Skarabee was French Canadian. I've just looked at New Caledonia on wikipedia - now that's kinda remote

Ahhhhh I wouldnt worry about that....
OK.
I haven't noticed that during listening the track but I'll check and correct it.
edit:
I've checked it but I can't find any changes....???
Did you mean volume of your maschine (itself / mixer)?
Because in both files the maschine itself is on 11 o'clock and mixers volume is in the middle.
