Caustic Song file (optional):
Hi guys!
This time I have something different for you all. I made this track early this autumn and sent it to Rachel Gaskin-Whitrod (Interstella Moonbeam). Rachel liked the song and wanted to add vocals to it and we thought it would be nice to have two versions of the song, so I picked up my guitar to see what I could do with it. I recorded the guitar with the J4T app with the exported song loaded on one track. It was only a sloppy improvisation trying to get the feel of the song but when I listened to it I liked it as it was, so I decided to keep the recording with mistakes and all, I think the bad timing and the mistakes I made only adds to the song and bring more life to it. Hope you agreed
The Caustic file doesn’t contain the guitar recording but everything else is in there for you to have fun with. Nothing special really but my birdies was quite fun to make.
Here's the link to Rachel's version of the song https://soundcloud.com/stellas-moonbeam/sparkling-autumn-pan-65-ft Enjoy...
Thanks for putting this out today. I'm geared up to do some recording for one of my tracks today, and I guess it's easier when there is peer pressure. The improv worked great because the song has that great feeling of taking it easy and letting life do it's thing. Thanks for sharing.

As per my soundcloud comments, this is an amazing track! A caustic masterpiece:)
im really appreciating the skills of the caustic warriors!
Btw, you had me fooled! You made your Padsynth very organ like:) great stuff!
Wow this is nice... I like it. I gotta go poke Rachel see how she doing, it's been a while, she been on my mind.
Good work on this one...
Lead guitar, yes it is sweet. I play lead along the same lines as this scale.
Since you need some negative here to balance out all this goodness, IMHO the brids tweet a little to long in the intro, other than that I love the 808 with the guitar.
Towards the end, almost sounds like a movie soundtrack.
Mike
Thanks, I’m looking forward to hear what you come up with
He he, yeah you can get all sorts of sounds out of the PadSynth. Subsynth, FM, Bassline, Padsynth and of course the Modular really works good together especially if your like me are a fan of synthetic sounds. I haven’t played much with the 8’bit yet but I see a lot of potential in that one too, as I see it Caustic 3 offers a nice retreat for those who dislike the ‘sample swamp’ that infects most electronic music nowadays.
Thanks Jason
Thanks Mike, I agreed that there a little too much birds in there. It’s easy to overdo things when you have fun. Another thing about the birds is that they are not realistic, some of them sounds like birds native here in scandinavia while other sounds more tropical
. I just played whatever came to my mind. They sound way to loud too on poor sound-systems but I’m too lazy to correct that
.
Very nice track and cool guitar track. And new species to add: Caustic birds.
I listened to Rachel version too, full of emotion.
Maybe a version with vocal anf guitar?
Hi guys, I looked trough my old tracks at SoundCloud earlier today and came across this track that I had completely forgot about. I think it's quite beautiful and since it's Autumn here in the northern hemisphere I thought I should bump this tread.
Enjoy;)
Hi everyone
I lost all my caustic files while switching phone two years ago. Now I wonder if anyone still got this file? If so please pm me. I need to see how i did some things in this song.
