Beatbox seems to have stopped accepting WAVs

I recently downloaded a pack of drumloops and pads, FX, vocal clips etc in WAV format

my plan for the tune I was working on was to use 2 beatboxes, one for drums and one to trigger the FX etc

my problem is that the Beatbox or Sub Synth doesn't accept these WAV files, I open the folder and it presents as empty

They will only appear in the PCM

I'm pretty sure this wasn't a problem before, as I was playing around with these kind of files in the Beatbox last week

has some strange glitch occurred or am i doing something stupid?

cheers

ps, I have no problems putting these files into the beatbox on the windows version

Have you tried a hard reboot

Have you tried a hard reboot of your phone? I mean pull the battery reboot.... check other recently installed apps..... memory usage? Security software? Wav file type and/or sample rate --

I think I remeber RejDev mentioned Android protocol only untilises 16/44.1 or 24/44.1

Basic troubleshooting things to try, maybe youll shake off the bug.

well if the files show up

well if the files show up sometimes and not other times, it might mean your sdcard is dying or has errors that were caused by disconnecting the phone too soon after copying files from a PC via USB. If you can connect the card to your PC via USB, you can run a disc error check to see if that fixes it.

I'm not sure what else to suggest, the app hasn't been updated in months and the WAV loader code hasn't changed much since v1.2. Are the WAV in any funky format or are they standard 44K 16 bit ?

Thanks for the advice, I did

Thanks for the advice, I did a disk check on the SD card, and although it found nothing wrong, the problem hasn't happened again, maybe it just needed some attention :)
