So much fun. Both NASAVOX and GLITCH drumkit from kriminal, thanks man.
This one is nice and peaceful, very serene, also has a few bubbles.
Tried soundcloud but it wouldn't start uploading. I'll try again monday at work (wifi), maybe soundcloud is just really very slow. I uploaded the wav file because I think posting the caustic wouldn't be proper (drumkit). Also had some trouble with caustic not always playing the background sound properly, and getting a decent export. This one should only have a small error at the start, which kinda sounds okay.
Hope someone wants to take the time to listen. It's called Controlprogram7 and lasts about 5 min.
Thanks and hope you like.
Damn, always make the same mistake. Should listen on speakers first, too much bass, volumes are off. Uploading a (hopefully) better file :(
Strange how it can sound so different on stereo. This should be cleaner. Maybe I need better headphones. Getting a bit frustrated.

downloading, will listen tomorrow ;-)
I just listened to it..... BTW you can export as .ogg --- smaller file size.... I don't see any major issues with your audio, but for detailed mixing I can understand your frustration of how it sounds different when you play it in your stereo or your car or headphones.... Whatever you have your phone/tablet hooked up to, make sure you play a CD (what's that right?) or some sort of professionally produced music first so you can get an idea of the sonic character of the music you are used to hearing, then try to match that sound character to your Caustic tune. If you're playing thru crappy speakers, but you make your Caustic mix sound good thru them, they will sound very boomy and very bright and thin on a larger stereo system.
What may help is to hook your phone or tablet directly to your stereo system if possible, and see if that helps. Quality headphones will work too.... I mean headphones that will give you a good clean 20hz to 20khz range (Sony makes good not-expensive headphones that will work here) I don't like to promote the idea of headphone mixing, but when working with phones and tablets with limited audio-out capablilities, headphones are a good place to start.
Maybe think about buying a 2.1 type pc speaker set and plug it directly into your phone....
Hope this helps
Thanks jblan1. Listened to it again and the biggest problem I still have with it is the background noise is too loud, should be barely audible. And it sounds thinner like you said. The booming is mostly gone I think. Will keep ogg in mind.
The soundcloudplayerthingie works. Tried cleaning up the track as good as I can, but I can play the volume game (louder stiller) all day, devil's in the details. This is the final cut.
Tried giving them a nice smooth flight and happy landing, samples aren't meant to be random. Also wnt to add that it's inspired by the first Plastikman albums (obviously I'm no Ritchie Hawtin), and it's a bit like staring at a fishtank.
Don't be to self conscious, music is supposed to reflect what you hear as an individual not what other people hear. :)
When you realize that your own ear is your magic, you won't be as self dictating to making others happy. I guess this is why the cliche' equated music to poetry, create your own style. I know this is hard when dealing with the technical aspects, but technical is only the end result of your own passion coming through on a logical level.
The technical is learned, the music is intuition.
I know with myself, finishing and letting go of a song gives you a stair step up to the next one.

Finish and let go a song, a constant struggle with me too...
Thought of changing something, but let it be itself. Control the tendency to keep adding to or tweaking a track to try and make it "better" or "more interesting", but ultimately destroying the mood. The possibility of others hearing it adds tension. But some may like it, others will not, I love my baby just the way it is. Humming along.
Thanks for the support.
i liked it, nice and chilled. Some of the glitch panning was too extreme for my taste, but nice work.
Thanks. Starting to notice the panning moreas well, escaped my attention before.
