Sampling Trick

Have you wanted to try sampling in the new Caustic 3.0? If yes, there is this one unnoticeable fast noise decay if you are a beginner like me. So the trick here is that there is this "master volume" in the master mixer. That is the volume control to make the sample have a clean end. This is the fade technique. To begin a sampling process, use automation and adjust the volume pins. The 2nd last pin shall be placed at some distance depending on your instrument, extra automations and key notes. Place the last pin at 0 for complete silence. Finally export your loop.

bingo..... I use it almost exclusively... only time now, when I export and use an outside tool, is for EQ control before bringing back into the app..... but I'm sure that will come soon.  The new waveform editor is really cool and very easy to use.
