Caustic Song file (optional):
Caustic Ambient song with drop of dark and drone.
Such we have a very warm winter, no snow, icicles, so let it be at least in music.
No samples, only synth, effects and automations.
Nishit Gajjar (aka NISHITBASSIST) made a movie about trying to catch a glimpse of the Unknown. This song became a soundtrack.
Beautiful picture, looking forward to checking the tune out
EDIT
I really like it, it's so organic in feel, doesn't sound sequenced. Looking forward to poking at the Caustic file to see how you did it, especially without samples. I would have guessed that it was largely PCM driven, now I know it isn't I'm intrigued
There's a cool guy called Nishit on these forums who explores similar textures - maybe an opportunity for a collab effort?

Thank you James for your feedback. Glad you enjoyed it. I just played without a metronome and other bindings. Caustic not very well suited to work with ambient, more directed to work with the pattern-based kind of music. But I think it will improve with time. I listened Nishit's songs. Very interesting. Thanks for the information. ;-)

Really Really nice/beautiful! just download the file. thanks for posting it!
One of the best ambient tracks i heard done with Caustic. Wonderful piece of music.
I like this a lot as well, was very nice to program to. I forget how much I love ambient until I hear really good ambient again.
The subtle lfo on noise is great in the background.
Is that a 3D scene in your image, if so did you model it?
Mike
fantastic...hoping to learn a few tricks from the caustic file...thanks for putting it up..

Very cool, I was expecting more machines, you did a good job a making the 5 you have sound big.
And only 370Kb.. gotta love synthesis. If only I supported a compressed file format, this thing ZIPs down to 18Kb !
Nice to see that something besides beatbox can be done
Wow! brilliant work and very inspirational! Keep it up and please keep creating more of this sort of works!!!
EP Album 'Oblivion Messages Out Now'
very pretty ambient track...nice job using just synths and no samples.
Love it!!! It's a very hot summertime on my island, and your track is refreshing, inspiring, relaxing. Hope to hear more, and I just saw a lot of ambient tracks on your soundcloud page. I know what I will hear this evening!
And thank you for sharing the file.
No, this is a realphoto from Crimea(Ukraine)

Beautiful. I can really appreciate the not-easy-to-arrange synth work here. Never tried doing an ambient track, but this is inspiring.

This gives me an idea... With fourteen machines, you could afford to dedicate a few to individual drum sounds and make "normal" beat/pattern based music and still have extremely small file size. I am going to have to try this. As we all know, small file size = good music.
And great track! I really enjoy when people make music on something that doesn't really sound like music made on that thing. Really pushes limits.
