This is one I started screwing around w/ just to learn how to use the PCMSynth and ended up sinking a bunch of time into and finishing as an actual song. Whoever guesses where the sample is from wins... nothing. You can Google it in two seconds. I will tell you you're right if you wanna use the honor system and throw out some guess though.
In any case, I started this on Caustic 2 and upgraded to 3 about halfway through. The drum sounds are sampled from various drum machines by yours truly. I think in this case no analog drum machine was harmed so they are all samples of someone elses samples. (Well, the human beat box stuff I recorded myself so I suppose I qualify as an analog synth after a fashion.) For the bass line, I used the subtractive synth and then I used the bass line synth for some stuff in the higher registers. I added the organ at the end because I upgraded to Caustic 3 and I could.
That was a fun listen :)
Thanks! It was fun to make too. I really, really wish I had sliced up the sample on Caustic 3 though. So much easier w/ the .wav editor where you can see the waveform. Biggest improvement in the new version, in my opinion, more than all the new instruments even.
