SOLVED: Missing expansion packs

I hope this is the right place to post this. I have the Caustic 2 app installed plus the Unlock Key. A day or two ago I purchased 4 expansion packs: Substance v1 to v3 and Strings and Keys v1 and also installed a few free packs including Community Pack #1. All of them seemed to download and install OK on my Nexus 7 tablet, but when I run Caustic and try to select one of the instruments they don't show up in the lists. In fact, the lists for the Beatbox, the Subsynth, and the PCMSynth are all showing only the instruments which ship with Caustic.

If I look in my Settings/Apps, I see all of them listed complete with what appear to be the correct figures for data size; for instance the Community Pack #1 shows 5.88 MB. Exploring the /sdcard/caustic directory using ES File Manager, I see the standard presets in the right place but can't find any sign that the downloaded expansion packs are actually on my filesystem.

I realise that the Nexus 7 is new and runs Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean) and that some apps are not-compatible. Since Caustic installed OK I assume that it is JB-compatible. But I can't think of any reason the expansion packs wouldn't install as they're just data, not executables. In fact, the Nexus 7 is an ideal way of composing music with Caustic.

Has anyone any idea what could be going on? Or any suggestions as to what I can do about it?

I just uninstalled all of the 8 packs that I'd previously installed, then tried just installing Community Pack #1 to see if I could find out what's happening. Again, it seemed to install OK but Caustic shows no extra instruments. So I uninstalled it and went back to look at the entry in the Play Store. Under the What's New section, I saw: "Fix for bad Caustic directories on a few devices". This looks like this pack, and probably the others, is trying to install in a directory that doesn't exist. But on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S2) this same pack installed inside /sdcard/caustic - the same directory I thought it would install into on the Nexus 7.

Not being an Android developer, I have no idea what's going on but I'd be grateful if someone could shed some light. For the time being, I'll install the expansion packs on my phone and copy them onto the tablet.

Edit 2:
OK, I think I've solved it. When the Play Store app says it's installing the packs, it isn't. It's installing an app that you have to run by clicking the Open button and this actually installs the instruments. Did no one think to put this on their Play Store page?
