I haven't given up on my last track but by the music I've been playing on my violin lately I had to make this. Its not 100% medieval but I also put another thing I've heard in it. It's interesting that the orchestral music I hear and play ends up getting chopped up and mixed and thrown into my own songs. Enjoy:-)
Finally Something Decent
Cool. I like what you do.
I like the grandeur of the piece (very well done by the way), but my favorite part is actually the interlude starting at 0:35.

Very good :) Has a slight 'ancient Chinese royal Ming Dynasty palace' feeling to it! (whatever that is!) Having done an orchestral piece on my last track we need more of this sort of thing :p

Would love to hear your version of Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue"

I'd gladly try but I've never heard it before.
This sounds great! I could see it as the intro music to a fantasy RPG or something.

Haha, that was actually my goal, as my friend has been drawing anime characters. We were joking about maybe in 5 years if we put all our characters and music together we'd have a decent game:-)
Awesome. About half the stuff I write I envision as being a soundtrack for some kind of a game or another, though normally more something like a puzzle or arcade game than an RPG. I've been meaning to test my mettle as an orchestral composer on Caustic but haven't taken the chance yet.

really awsome,...i love the drama and intensity...i perticularly like the last change near the end.
You should definitely go for it. I personally think it takes a lot more work than any other type of music, but then again I haven't made too many other types. I'm sure what you'd compose would be amazing.
