Hello Artists!
I was getting ill last tuesday, fever with bad dreams and stuff. Even in this uncomfortable state some ´higher force´ (caustic 2) drives me into doing another track. Have fun with this.

I wish you a good week!
who says Caustic can't be a funky hip-hop disco break beat machine? This one is grooooovy baby....J
I would love to hear someone rappin' to this! C-:
Fever funk... maybe add some vocal samples if rap is unavailable (?)
No place for samples left in that rack..
I even used a 2nd beatbox for the sliced guitar samples and additional percussive sounds. ^.^
Maybe i could add some more stuff in an external program.
Think next Caustic update will fix the "no room left" problem.
Is there a general thread for the next patch changes?
No. last time I made my plans public I got hammered by comments asking when it would be out, followed by angry "you shouldn't announce things if they're not ready." comments so I haven't posted them anywhere yet. I do this for fun, but some people take it more seriously I guess.
However, I love discussing what's coming up with users and im not big on secrets so what i wanted to do was to put a beta version of v2.1 once it's close to release for people to test out. I've been disappointed but the number of patches I got back for the modular synth prototype so I might not do the beta thing after all...well see. Maybe just a quiet forum post would ensure only active users read it.
I'd love to publish my feature list/roadmap for future versions, but I think that will just draw comments like "what about feature x I asked for?!". Like a lot of companies that work on user tools, I tend to shape things based on the number of requests I get for features and the general buzz around them. If only person has asked for it, it probably won't be in the next version...
To answer the question here, no: more machines is not in the next update, probably for v3.0
...A reasonable approach to this kind of thankless comments. I cant say enough what an amazing tool caustic already is. The most intuitive solution i know. I appreciate your work on this, will the future be great :-)
Maybe the upper or lower keys of the PCM (keys not used in the song) can still be used for samples? Or an open spot, unused sound in the beatbox?
Most of the time I don't have the "out of room" problem, too minimal I guess :)
This track is an extreme when it comes to samples because of the guitar section and the beat. If you want to make it sound not too digital there must be variated samples especially with accoustic stuff.
I must confess i have not found out yet how to map different samples in the pcmsynth. All ive done till now was loading multiple samples into the device.. 8{ how is it possible to map them on different keys?
With regards
I think mekanism explained it very well in the beat slicing thread (1st post, step 3 & 4):
