This is my first community jam I'm excited
Sweet! Glad to have some new folks on board!

It is nice indeed. I'm starting to feel guilty about participating in all of these...
VIOLENT NEUROSIS (YouTube) ...https://www.youtube.com/user/ViolentNeurosis
hey! you used my idea (yay), so of course put me in the next open slot! I am partial to prime numbers but it doesn't matter. I hope I get an 8bit or a pad
¿que onda, pachuco?
Ok, I officially got nothing. Sorry but I am not experienced enough to use the subsynth with that awesome contribution. If someone else would like a crack,at the subsynth feel free. Sorry about the disruption. :)
At the fundemental level everything is frequency, music truly is life :)
I would switch you and take a crack at it if you and others give the ok, though we did maybe discuss of one reroll per turn? I don't recall, anywho, offers there.
BI, dont over think it. throw down a beat with your machine. I know you can do that.
It might take me a few days on my turn I'm gonna be away from internet for a while but like 5 days tops
Copying the patterns into Subsynth on Angry Arp with the Volume of it up sounds pretty good with the Deathbase. But Dont do it cause that's what I would do. Wink wink nudge nudge.
Transmission sounds really neat with it too.
BI come back. Just copy my patterns and throw down a preset subsynth. Don't quit man, you always have a great positive attitude.
Naw, if some one would allow me to switch spots I would be more than happy to think on that, or refill later if you all would prefer, I am just at a loss right now with a good sound. Maybe not sounds to help define it in my mind would help :)
And thanks to all of you for the encouragement
Just tested angry are and it sounds righteous, if you don't mind one more day I am pretty sure I can come up with something nice
I'm fine with waiting for your contribution. Don't succumb to a dice re-roll man, you can do this!
Well the angry Apr with fuzz distortion truly is a rad combo so as soon as I am off work I am fully focused on the song :)
Is slot 15 allowed to change machine presets our do I have to leave them alone
Well, you could consider this a learning experience. Just load a preset, tweak knobs and get familiar with how each one affects the sound, and just let your fingers do the thinking. Happy accidents in Caustic have let to big results. Your own lack of faith is always a stone cold killer.
If you need more time so you can work on this art, I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say you've got it. I for one want all of us to learn through this. Warriors Jam 2 was my first time collaborating in a big project, and I've been in every one since. After #2, I had enough confidence in myself to start off #3 with a Subsynth. You'll get there, bro.
Changing the machine presets is strictly forbidden.
Changing presets would entirely defeat the purpose for this iteration. I would say feel free to do so if you want to publish a remix. I've played with the other Jams... If you're going to post it online, I'd ask all involved if they're cool with your changes.
Sorry about the delay, thanks for the encouragement and advice. I'm sure the next ones up are, going to knock it out of the park
way to come back swinging! adds a nice contrast to the grindy goodness, leaves plenty of room for all the organs and padsynths that are sure to come, hehe. very glad you didn't throw in the towel. kudos!
Hey, man, I'm glad you stuck to it. You are going to be stoked once this is mastered and you hear your part with everyone else! Keep it up!
I didn't want to bail I just had no ideas, but I listened to the suggestions and threw my own twist on it :) I feel like this is going to be another cool track like the last one :D
I would love to join in.. sounds like round five might be filled in. Lol. But I what do i have to do to get in on the next one?
I'll adding you to the roster for the current jam. Check the initial post for your position in the list, and when it becomes your turn, I'll add the machine you'll need to work with (randomly assigned).
Welcome aboard r12t25 :)
Edit: sorry for the double post.
Thank you much.
This is bigger than I think a lot of people give it credit for. From the comments it sounds like you are all really into your craft , or art... and like me a little set back at times because what you try to put out there just doesn't come out. But this being my first time I think I will take my own advice and jump right in. Music is like that. Its not about the fear of messing up. Its getting together what's there. It really is the the most human art form. Thank you for the invite.
I know I'm a total newb but could I please participate in this jam. I really appreciate your previous works.
Welcome aboard! You've been added to the list.
Wow you guys got your work cut out for you on this one..... just wow.
Thankyou so much, got a few ahead of me so should give me some time to brush up. Looking forward to it. Loving the work
Welcome aboard timeless, as someone who is first getting serious at being a musician I can say that these jams are teaching me a lot. A great learning tool :)
Edit: also each of these have also been super fun. Even with my block I still had fun and am super stoked to see how this one turns out. This has sparked a few ideas for a mix on modularity. I figure great practice for slot 15 :)
Here's my 2.5 cents... Not sure who created or where I got the preset from... but whoever did it. Thanks a bunch!!!
I tried to follow the directions of the first two tracks. Hopefully everyone is cool with it.
BASS. how low can you go? I think that is a jblann preset, either way, neat addition, this could get really tricky on down the line, especially depending on what machines come up when. very exciting though, I am hoping to be the lucky organ winner, would be hilarious!
That was a killer addition, it fit seemlessly, great job :)
Now I am just waiting to see who gets to do the drums for this track... as it lends it self to some aggressive drum playing. Fast and slow... then extreme tempos at times.... so jealous!!!
just imagine if it works out that no one gets assigned a pcm, beatbox, or vocoder though, could be interesting.
Maybe we can rule that if no beatbox or PCM is assigned by the time we get to #14, its automatically defaulted.
likely a good idea =P... or, people could take the opportunity to start trying to make the synths percussive if we actually make ten or so layers without. crazyenoughtowork?
Heres my contribution. I kept it short cause I know theres a lot more people that will be filling in sounds to other spots in the song. Hope it works.
I have been having conection issues. I just downloaded the latest addition and will listen tonight. Thoughts from me come tomorrow :)
Fields and fields of crickets....
*pours melted chocolate on the crickets and then eats them*
Can I be 14?
If i were to do the drums it would sound like cherub or phantogram
Anxiously awaiting caustic live. I sit in my car sometimes with caustic playing out the stereo. As im writing. We could really have fun with this. Cant wait.
