Ok. I just downloaded and listened to the track. Can I write and save parts to this in preparation ?
If I get the call for drums... i have a riff hammered out in the waits. Heavy. In one word. The sp12 high hat is largely showcased as well. About the best one I've tried. Good stuff!
It up to you. This is very experimental stuff, so I think you can give it a try if you like. I don't know if anyone has tried that yet. Be interesting to see how it works out.

Well I have actually saved what I have written so far which really brings the track to a heavy industrial level. Maybe after we finish this I will post my own personal version... just to show the different directions it is possible to go with an initial idea, which I should point out.. sounds great so far good work every one!
So I contacted Pan65, and he said he is busy, but he would try to have something uploaded shortly.
As for me no problem.
Sorry for keeping you waiting guys, here's my contribute at last.
Thanks Pan. No problem.
Hata, it looks like it's a Bassline synth for you. :-)
Good work Pan. Liking the sound of this so far.
Taking advantage of my "season" of musical inspiration, I was free to make a real-time automation work while listening for the third time. I wanted to capture what made me feel the melody in each section and I think I got it. I'm impressed by the work achieved by all so far and luckily I touched my dear BASSLINE
I apologize if anyone would could disturb what I showed in this paper. It is a very personal perspective. I just wanted to show what my feeling towards me.
glitchy! wowguys. fun stuff.
Yall been busy! I've been off the grid for a while. This beast is sounding hungry.
I've been caught up in work and my insane recovery from composer's block, so I haven't listened to this in quite some time. I might as well wait until it's my turn, and in the meantime hope I don't get assigned a certain machine I'm not too fond of...

I would like slot 1 on round six
Roger that. Remind me when we get closer to it. I've got something way different planned for round 6.
Sounds like round six will be interesting
This is really sounding like an awesome blend of psychadellic rock opera imo. It is sooooo cool :)
At the fundemental level everything is frequency, music truly is life :)
Personally I think this paper has a different characteristic. When my turn came I generated different sensations. Each fragment has its own energy and ideas just born. It was strange to the amazing time. The creativity I see in each member that makes up this community never ceases to amaze me and I really feel honored to participate in assembly such talented people
Yeah, this one has been slow going. Part of me wonders if it's that its summer, and folks are more outside. Another part of me wonders if people are losing interest. I check in on this daily, hoping to see progress. Starting to wonder if I should plan a sixth one.
I'm down for 6.maybe 7 people each gets 2.
sorry I am taking so long, I am getting ready to move from pa to ny at the end of the month and things are hectic. I got my preset figured out and started laying down patterns, I will definitely have my part up this weekend at the latest. that 8bit synth can be a cheeky little monkey.
I have been wondering the same about people possibly losing interest. I can't speak for anyone but myself, but I'm finding that if I go a week without checking the progress here, it's almost like nothing has changed. I think maybe 2 turns were taken since I last checked this forum. I'm almost always tinkering with creations in Caustic every day... Admittedly, I have started losing interest only because of the wait. Once it's my go, I'm all in... Kind of makes organizing another style of collaboration practical...
Lately I've enjoyed working on "smaller" projects since you can work on a few at a time. But summer time means golf, trout and stripped bass.
I'm not losing interest. I'm checking this almost daily and its been a bit like staring into the abyss lately. A true Caustic Warrior would never let a matter as trivial as "the summer" get in the way of the honourable pursuit of audio perfection.
Caustic Replay - you do a great job organising these jams. Hopefully the pace will pick up soon
sorry for the wait folks, here's my bit. moving to nyc on wednesday, so it's been a struggle to get time to sit down and really focus, but yeah, excitement!
Thanks guys. I'll keep it up as long as there is interest.
Sounding great! I got vocoder... Gotta put my brain to writing words to vocode I guess. Hope I can get this done by Weds for you all!
My band | My other projects | Your mom
...that is all.
¿que onda, pachuco?
Working on this now. I blocked time for it this afternoon but site was down so I couldn't get caustic file and I am behind schedule.
It's cool man.
My phone's touchscreen broke so i wont be around until probably the 28th or 29th of june. Just a heads up :)
I had to get a replacement S3, so for nearly a week I hadn't been keeping up on this.I'd thought for sure my turn would be up!
Yeah, this one has been slow-going. Everyone still seems interested in completing it though, so onward & upward we go.
Alright, sorry for the almost week delay. I had bigger plans for this but didn't want to leave you all hanging. I am happy with my llitle bit though.
I can't speak for everyone else, but I have not lost interest in this project. I may not have been posting much lately, but I'm always checking it's progress. Given that we are at the mercy of random chance, regarding our instrument, in addition to still having our individual lives, it's still coming along pretty quick, imho... I honestly don't know what I would have done with a vocoder - hadn't even considered that one!
Glad to hear it Radio Rev!
I just listened to it for the 1st time in awhile, and I'm impressed. You guys are sculpting some cool stuff here!
Hey CJ5, have you met my good friend the BEATBOX ?
I think this is my favourite CJ so far. Great work all round but I have to say there's some absolutely genius work on the Bassline here by Hatarakimasu. Just tried listening to his part soloed and it sounds fantastic!
This is starting to remind me of Nightwish's 'Storytime', from their album 'Imaginaerum'.
Mindfool: great percussive contribution. I was starting to getting worried the random number generator wouldn't turn up a beatbox.
Hey guys, I'm *back*, and I see I got the Modular!!!
I have the next day off, so I'll be cookin' them taters, Zero Style!
back guys :)
downloading the addiitions now will listen soon
I am definately looking forward to hearing the progress
all right, I'm next!
