You know? Some of these old games , although infeor graphics and sound, have much more substance and plot than what is offered today..... well except AngryBirdsSpace :)
What I like about them is that they had to squeeze everything they could out of the hardware and often used neat tricks to do it. A bit like we see on the forums here where people are using clever techniques to get the most out of Caustic with excellent results.
It really is incredible. I've been able to throw tracks together in Caustic with better results than a lot of people achieve with Reason. It's very powerful- capable of so much, and yet it is so simple. And cheap.
I had previously uploaded my remake of the level 2 boss theme from Panzer Dragoon 2 (Sega Saturn game) on SC, but I just overhauled it & uploaded a few minutes ago. I found the original song on Youtube too! Check my new post "Vapor Trail XL" in the Show & Tell forum for both of them.
Amiga game tracks... can't wait to hear them! (Space Harrier... Shadow of the Beast... Out of This World.. hint, hint)
Nice little retro groove there. Well done...J
Weird song, don't know the game, but it sounds cool. Well done.
Thanks guys. I tried to recreate the retro/chip-tune style of the original and Caustic was perfect for doing it.
Just a bit of fun!

I've really been into that retro/chip-tune and 8 bit sound too.
I didn't know the game or the music.
Found it here.

Your version is great!
Thanks Wardini, that's the game. Check out Turrican as well for music by the same guy, really catchy little tunes.

Now we just need to find an AMIGA emulator for Android!

Caustic itself is like that. Rej has created a small efficient app that can do more than one would think.
Awesome job on this... I remember that game and the track this was done after! I was the only kid on my block with an Amiga, such an awesome machine.

It was indeed an awesome machine! I've got a couple of other Amiga game tunes on my Caustic to-do list.
