I really like this. I was expecting something like Naked City (which I love) this is nice and hip lounge. What did you use for the bass? It's got a great sound.
Nice track. It is a refreshing change, taking a break from all the electronic stuff this weekend..... Well I was doing carpet cleaning and other home maintainence, but still, a good listen. Keep it up...J
Yes, saying "this is Zorn-like" was like saying "this consists of different sounds mixed together". Because there are quite many different styles associated with this name...
The "keyboard" was a very simple subsynth: two pure sinusoidal voices, one being tuned down of a few cents. (I love this effect.)
Bass and strings and drums are "electric bass", "strings" and "LM2-perc" from the default stuff.
The guitar is "punchnylon" from bigbeardaudio.

Very nice mood this song has. Enjoyed listening to it.
I enjoyed listening to this one too. Thought the sounds were very natural, great bass and guitar.
Could be the basis of a future song challenge - a bossa beat and natural sounds like flutes, clarinets, acoustic guitars...

Nice (:
You maybe want to check Walter Wanderly and to a certain level Martin Denny if you like this bossa-lounge sound too...
Walter Wanderly - Summer Samba
Martin Denny - Martinique
for example.
Thanks for your comments.
