Here a start on a Latin dance tune. Bass sound can be changed. Just need 3 slots to add some more Latin perc to this one.

If you want to do a crazy solo on the piano... On the Trombone preset... On the D patterns, it has the Bm blue scale I used for the unison part of the horns. I am also going to add the Spanish scale to add a guitar for a Santana sound.
a piano solo you say. will try :)
Organ... I meant... But piano is cool too... YouTube "oye como va" by Santana
so you like what i added so far?
It's good, but it feels like your holding back. Don't be afraid... Just do it! :-)
this is my first collab, i always wanted to understand how to make latin music.
i love the idea to act like someone who has a wurtlitzer.
Great... This is more salsa jazz electronic hybrid. There's a few rules for this style. For example in a Orchestra the bongo player also has a large cowbell in which he plays on the "exciting parts" of the song. So cowbell and the bongos don't play at the same time. Feel free to ask any questions.
Rebecca Mauleon has some good Latin jazz salsa mambo theory books.
