I know, I know, this is way too popular already and probably none of you wanted to hear this, but it's my first composition on Caustic 2.0 and I was way too excited to get something up and running quickly while playing with all the basic features of the app! I almost didn't want to post anything here because after listening to some of the other work you guys put up, I felt undeserving of any sort of spotlight at all... but I was encouraged by @CausticApp (is that Rej?) on YouTube, so there you go.

I used only the default presets that came with Caustic, because like I said I was very excited to create something quickly. If anyone could recommend some good PCMSynth presets to download for acoustic compositions, please do let me know.
Happy to join the Caustic community!
Great! Especially for ur first composition n_n
Thanks! I love your dubstep compositions on YouTube btw. It's how I discovered Caustic. :)
Hi and welcome, you are off to a great start there. There are alot of talented people here with unique styles, and we all learn something new every day... Fimd me on YouTube and Soundcloud... some more goodies for you...J
Welcome, thanks for posting, yes that was me on youtube. There's lots of free PCMSynth presets right at the top of this page (or any page), plus all the paid and free packs on the market. You can quickly list off all of them using Caustic on your device if you're on Android, just press "Get More" from the presets selection screen in the PCMSynth.
Also, the PCMSynth can load SoundFonts, and there's lots of free ones out there, especially for natural instruments...
Yeah, it's pretty amazing hearing the sounds everybody here submits; so different, and all very inspired (and inspiring)! It's easy to be intimidated by the talent...
Yup! I searched around the forums and saw your recommendations. Already started downloading some SF2 files from hammersound.net, I think I'll have to spend a few days just going through all the sounds and find what I'm looking for. Thanks for the help. :)
Very nice. Nasty basslines :)
Welcome! Nice little track, I like the melodies a lot. I don't think you should feel intimidated at all. Btw there's a Caustic group on soundcloud which should give you access to a lot of the users tracks. I find it a great source of inspiration for new techniques.
Hey and welcome. Nice to see a new member. Your track has a really good beat and I like the lead!
I know what you mean, the instant that you get your hands on Caustic one wants to make something immediately :o) That is what is great with Caustic, it turns on the creativity. Keep working with the track and make a proper finish to it. Then move on to create your next idea :o)
Oh. Jee thanks :D
Wow, thanks for all the feedback, everyone! I intend to use Caustic in making music for mobile games, and any inspiration at all is very welcome. Thanks for showing the way to the soundcloud group, it really helps. :)
