Adding space in the middle of a Vocoder sample

I was looking for a way to insert silence in a Vocality clip, and my solution was to just add the words 'one', 'two', 'three' 'four' in Vocailty where I wanted the silence, and export it to the vocoder.  Then in the wave editor in the Vocoder, I just selected the 1,2,3,4 and used the 'Amplify' function to bring the signal down to nothing.

Anybody else have another, more elegant way of doing this?

if you have a tiny piece of silence somewhere, you can copy/paste it too. The next version will offer a way to insert silence.
