What would be cooooooooooL is ! if we could click on the Modular & The Beat box in Instruments page & lock them together / Group as one channel ' so 2 speak ;) that would open up huge potencial for layering ! effectively Joining Both BeatBox & Modular in one cell, rather like Combinations in Reason! ' & in so doing leave more channels free for extra building . . . . . what say you ........... ? ( Caustic4 ) Rej !
If you're talking about loading instruments that are already arranged in layers, I already did that: search this site for Builderz Pro Instrumentals...
There are 14 instruments and 14 channels. MMX probably doesn't mean breaking the 14 instrument limit and means to say, combining 2 instruments as 1 instrument via modular. When the sub-bass is connected to the modular by its machine input, you will have the option (press a button) to combine the instrument onto the modular. When the polymerization is complete (lol polymerizing), then the instrument is hidden and oh it looks like a channel platoon :P. Then now that commander modular has recruited the sub bass, a switch out can happen (like switch summoning a character or just moving aside a page manually and bringing in the other page).
MMX wants more instrument slots ok, but in a more amazing way.
Source of my irrelevant but relevant opinion: A tutorial in another DAW that was about making a special kick. Grouping as one channel compresses the sounds and they are ONE.
Hmmmmm..... I see it now..... I have to say though, as innovative and creative as it is as you described, I'm unsure of its future on this app..... remember this is running on a mobile device, and to have the tools and channels we have running smoothly right now, is a miracle in the first place.
For a Desktop Music Workstation...... would be perfect, and many many VSTi's do this, making some killer sounds for sure.
Even hardware synth keyboards today can't touch what we have going on here.
What you did with the MasterEQ, was merely augment the entire frequency band boosted approx +12dB (maybe introduce some subtle phase issues too)
Might as well keep it Flat.

No Jason that's not what i mean ,
1. Empty Rack , 1st instrument a Kit !
2. 2nd instrument SuBBas !
3. 3rd instrument Modular with SuBBass routed via Input machine !
4. An option too wrapped the two together as One - channel
5. so now in instruments page there is only 2 instruments displayed! / The Kit, & the Combination of Subbass & Modular as one !
6. Channel three is now free for further single instruments or perhaps another combination !
just me thinking out loud

Yeah, it's something special to have a modular keyboard that is here already and is virtually interchangeable in an uncommonly seen virtuous way.
Special enough. But I don't get how the subsynth is note stackable and the modular is more monotonous.
My favorite is the subsynth because it is (set up/programmed) to work like no other.
I love this app!
