Fellow Caustic Warriors, I'm pleased to announce my 2nd album, "Arcane Designation" is now available on Google Play!
On September 9, the album should be available on iTunes, Amazon & Spotify.
Marketing this work is my most difficult task, so all I ask is for you to share it on your social networks.
Thank you again to all whom have helped me learn new techniques, and thanks to Rej for this incredibly capable software.
That's awesome!:)
Woop Woop! congrats man; I will be spreading the word for sure.

Thank you!

awesome! I'll be sure and get one next month. I didn't know if we were allowed to promote our releases in the forums...doesn't bother me at all; just wasn't sure.
¿que onda, pachuco?
How can I put my music on GPS?
get a distribution company - I use loudr.fm, but there are many. loudr can also get you a shot at being on Pandora, which used to require the artist to have a physical CD for sale on Amazon. You have other companies to pick from, though, and they all have certain costs, and benefits/drawbacks to be weighed.
Do you have mastered, dithered, copies of your tracks in the right format? And artwork, credits, liner notes, etc... it's more doable from home than ever before in history, but it's still a bit of work.

What format should it be in?
16 bit (sample size), 44.1 kHz (sample rate), 1411 kbps (bit rate) stereo WAV files was what I needed to provide, but it may vary on the aggregator company that you end up using.
Note: You don't need an aggregator company to put your music on Google Play! You can go direct with Google. Search the web for 'Google Artists Hub' to learn more. I deal with Google directly, and use an aggregator for the other stores.

I'm trying to set up a google artist hub here, but having trouble being able to link with my dev and other google accounts, to keep it all together under my company name....
What company are you using for the other stores, cr?
¿que onda, pachuco?
Tunecore.
They offer access to more stores than I could imagine, but the way they make their money is by charging me an annual fee to keep the album live at the online stores. This is where Google Play has the advantage in my mind (for a new artist who is trying to set noticed), as you pay a one time setup fee, and then you can upload all you want without being charged again. Sure, Google keeps 30% of each sale. But Tunecore's fee add up fast, and for a new artist who isn't selling a ton of albums, it get's expensive.
My few cents worth. Subject to change with or without notice :-)

Album is now available on iTunes, so folks who can't use Google Play! (talking to you here NishitBassist

i love end of may :)
Thank you.
'End of May' was the result of somebody asking me "can't you write anything that doesn't have a driving beat to it?"

i can say that you have done it great ;)
Was it easy for you to get into iTunes? I heard it can be a pain to get content sold in there, be it apps or music/video etc...
It was the same process I used to get my content onto AmazonMP3 & Spotify - using Tunecore.com
You have to pay an annual fee for each album you release though. (Not with Google Play though, which is why I'm releasing the collaborative work there as free downloads).
