PCM Synth Not Accepting WAV. Files on My Touch

Hi,

First of all I'd like to say that I love Caustic 2.0! It is solid (doesn't crash) , easy to use and a great bus companion :-)

The challenge that I am currenly facing is that I trsnaferred a few .WAV files (Prime Loops) on My Touch phone and tried uploading each file separately on the PCM, but they just won't load. Is there a size limit or contraint in regards to the .WAV files? or am I overlooking something?

 Thank you,

 - Mark

What format are your samples

What format are your samples in? At this time, caustic can only use 16 bit PCM wav files. You can use the free program "audacity" to convert your files if you need.

Dittos what DJBR said, 16bit.

Dittos what DJBR said, 16bit.... mono is best (only accepts mono, Audacity mixdown to mono to save disk and memory space on your phone/tablet)  Audacity if you don't have it, it is free.  It is an awesome resource for audio handling and converting for your use in PCMSynth.

Hope this helps
