'Neu Day Rising' - new track

Caustic Song file (optional):

A quirky thing that's been in my WiP folder since April 2014. The 'Neu' reference was because I felt there was something Krautrock about it, as well as the more normal techno/electronic vibes,

It's also a play on words 'New Day Rising' by Husker Du, such a righteous noise smiley

Nice references James, I like

Nice references James, I like Krautrock (Can, Amon Duul 2)  I like Neu and I like this...I listen to some of the stuff you guys on this forum have done, and I feel like a toddler (just been using Caustic for a couple of months)...

Thanks Wellsely - the other

Thanks Wellsley - I like Neu and Can but only have a few records that are really Krautrock, although my small collection includes E2:E4 by Manuel Gottsching (of Ash Ra Tempel). E2:E4 was reinvented in 1989 as the house tune 'Sueno Latino' http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sue%C3%B1o_Latino

I like a lot of contemporary artists influenced by Krautrock - from older artists like Stereolab, Clinic and Julian Cope to more modern stuff like Lower Dens,

Must admit my knowledge

Must admit my knowledge consists of more past times in music, I had heard little snippets of Ash Ra Temple but not much, I had never listened to E2:E4, but found it on You Tube last night and listened to the whole movement, and have to say a big thanks, excellent...oh and yes Julian Cope, now there was a unique and talented musician...

I like music that combines different genres, and think for me this is the challenge with Caustic, as it obviously lends itself to electronic stuff...I've never really handled any synths before...but I'm working on something that I hope achieves this....

Interesting sounds once again;)
Did you use an arp or did you make the notes manually?
