Set up a parametric eq and bitcrusher like so: http://imgur.com/4ou6K.png
It helps to have that compressor as it can get quite loud.
Play any note on your synth and you're off! Tweak the frequency of the eq and the depth of the bc to alter the sound, and turn up jitter to make computery sound effects. Turn jitter down and play with the low end of the rate knob to find deep, loud bass tones.
Very cool DJBR!
plus the frequency bump of the Parameter eq can be automated just like the other knobs you mention
pretty sick (or slick)
Yea there are some...dead zones I'd call them on the eq, more so when you decrease the gain rather than increase
Edit: to clarify, by dead zone I mean a frequency range where no feedback is created in the bc

Well that largely depends on the audio content that it feeds.... different kinds of audio will have different frequency responses..... take different wav files and run a spectrum analizer thru it and you will see different results for different types of sounds..... some will resonate in different frequency sweeps than others.
This is where the Para EQ can really shine.... if there's a spot that needs that little boost or cut, this IFX module is just the ticket to fine-tuning, to get a smoother tone.... or in this thread, to achieve some freaky cool effects or crazy noisy mess.
I love it.
BTW, DJBR, you got the Threshold knob in the wrong direction...... try closer to 9:00...
I'm not an expert with compressors but shouldn't turning it all the way clockwise only trigger on sounds above 0db? I was just trying to limit the signal and this setup seems to work pretty well

For an insert fx to really squash sounds, lower threshold works. For master comping, moderate threshold to whatever sounds good to you. Not sure if max thresheold knob setting = 0db or not, although to me its higher, but let your ears be your guide, and play around with different extreme settings and youll know what it sounda like and a range that works best for you.
Yeah, Im loving the new EQ. You can run 2 and boost the low end with full width while on the other you can use a low width and modulate the frequency for a filter effect.
