Psykick, how to do it?

Hey guys!

I'm stuck with doing this particular psytrance kick sound, like in this track:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2OjngAn68x8&list=PL68F21AA957B863CC&index=2

Its, this little "klick" or something like this. I tried to put 2 bassdrums at the same time (as i read this on isratrance), one low and one high-pitched, but it never gets that good, because i cannot pitch the second as high to get this sound. Any ideas?

Have a nice day!

You can use a sinewave with a pitch envelope.
Do it in subsynth, export that sound as a song an then import in beatbox. Together with a second trance kick it should work.

I'd been using Stomper since

I'd been using Stomper since before I can remember. It's dirt old, but is still a great tool for making basic drum sounds. I'd used it for everything from deep trance kicks to crazy modulation effects. Just tweak it as you like and export to wave.

The easy way is:

The easy way is:

open the downloaded songfile and save a modular preset. Then open your song, add a modular to your song and load that preset. Set notes and go. So you can change and automate this klicksound

And here's some final output

And here's some final output of trying to make a kick. I'll just say it took a modular from scratch + EQs + Limiters + Compressors + 2 Phaser + Some Filters. Oh and plus some trance kick.

Maybe you want to try the

Maybe you want to try the sfxr gimmick in the sample editor. You can create even drum sounds with it.
