Two of the presets, used in this, have been uploaded to the forum. The modular one, also used in Cardboard & Duct Tape, is the opening bassline. The 8-bit is used next, also during the intro, and in The Electric Cowboy. That one is a beast! It's good for short notes. But, I use it for four to eight bar sequences. Every little adjustment sounds a lot different.
My mother just told me, not verbatim, what my nephew told me last week. Which is, basically, that I'm not afraid to use big sounds, colors, flavors, or words in my various artistic endeavors. Too bad it was more like "it sounds good...but, can you lower it?" and "that's weird. But, okay...I guess." Such an accepting family I have.
mmmmmm....delicious! Love it! Seems to be brickwall limited to all hell (something I'm not using to seeing/hearing in your tracks), but I guess the sonic palette is so broad and constantly changing it can take that without getting monochromatic. I might be wrong about any of that, but regardless, good job, sir!
Rev, until recently, I've been making tracks using emotion. This is my first song utilizing both emotion and intention.
A friend of mine photoshopped my face, and a few keyboards, onto a Phantasm movie picture. I was going to use that for the song's cover art. But, there was a copyright symbol and I can't afford an infringement suit. It was a horrible cut/copy/paste picture too! I already had a similar picture to the one he used and made my own. Hopefully, <crosses fingers> using the SCS logo will be overlooked. ;)
Thanks for the Praga Khan comment. I have been trying to listen to industrial music, having enjoyed some of Andy Bones' work in Caustic, but found NiN and KMFDM kinda .. well .. blah. Praga Khan was what I was looking for, and I have a couple albums downloaded from Rdio to listen to while I drive around for work tomorrow.
Thanks for sharing your stuff, both the music you make, and the info.
Pop Will Eat Itself. Their front man was Clint Mansell. One of his besties is a movie director named Darren Aronofsky. He directed Pi (not Life of Pi...just Pi), Requiem for a Dream, The Fountain, and a couple more. Clint compiled the soundtrack for Pi and composed the score. Look up soundtrack tracklist. Subsequently, Clint composed the score for Requiem for a Dream. Summer Overture was such a moving piece that Lil Joh even sampled it. You know his work. Trust me.

Well, I hate to quote Rocky movies, but...."Sue me for what?" Not the best legal advice probably, but that's how I think.
