[Fixed] Win version: No "play" "record" or "stop" buttons, mouse cursor off-point

I must be missing something here...  I'm unable to use 2.1 for Windows because the play/ rec/ stop buttons are nonexistent.  The other problem is that putting the mouse cursor on what I want to click doesn't work.  I have to lower the cursor about an inch until it recognizes a click on a button.  There is also an issue with the size of the application Window, at any point part of the bottom and part of the top can't be seen, like the window needs to be resized for the UI

Thanks!

Yeah, try pressing F6 Andy,

Yeah, try pressing F6 Andy, that's bring you back to landscape mode, then go into options and disable "screen rotation" so it doesn't start portrait by default, I'll update the Win version to make landscape the default. For those who got this bug, what is your screen resolution? is it big enough to fit the whole app in portrait mode? (960 pixels)

Im just 60 pixels short :(

Im just 60 pixels short :(

It would be cool if the window could be resized and the graphics be scaled to fit. Of course that functionality wouldnt benefit the actual app but still.

I can probably do that, it's

I can probably do that, it's 3D rendering so it would just adapt. There might be some text that's harder to read, but it's an option... I'll try it.

It would be great if you

It would be great if you could run the windows app fullscreen as well. I would really love to use it that way on my convertible Win 8 touch laptop.

Excellent

Thanks Rej, that totally solved the problem.  My screen is something like 1800x1260p I believe, the Caustic window takes up a little more than half the screen.

1366x768 is a fairly standard

1366x768 is a fairly standard Windows target screen size as it's your typical 15" laptop screen size these days (I worked there the last 6 years).   Which also happens to be what I'm currently using, and explains why that 960px didn't work for me :)

That F6 solution worked fine for me though.

That said, while I prefer the single machine view of landscape mode on my 7" tablet, I like the idea of the machine / piano roll view of portrait mode on my laptop as it's bigger and doesn't require my giant fingers.  So if there were a scalable Windows version, I'd love it.

The app now defaults to

The app now defaults to 800x480 but you can resize the window to whatever you want, even maximize it. If you stretch it out in portrait proportions, it'll automatically switch to multi-machine view so go crazy, but not everything will render well in small size.

I've left F6 as a safety to revert back to 800x480 if needed.
