It's time to get competitive.
Alright Caustic gang, I have formulated a little game for us to play. If you like the Caustic Community Jams, you may be interested in this sort of game. I've decided to call it 'KnowYourGenre'. I'm gonna sum it up here. Lets say you have a caustic file full of machines and patterns, but with an empty song sequencer. Basically the objective is to order patterns from a file in a way that you see fit, and hope that you pieced the puzzle together correctly according to another file with the actual song that the patterns came from. Mainly because I don't wanna make this too hard of a challenge. This is something that anyone should be able to play. But I do hope to see more challenging tunes made in the future. Anywho, lets get on with the show. This is a first come, first serve event. The caustic file you need to download is here. The first 10 people to post their mix in the comments will be in the list for competition. The time you need to match is 01:19. It's not much. But like I said, we're not going to start this thing off with a 5 minute song. I wanna see how this works first. Okay, you read the rules! (hopefully) Ready...Set...GO!!!
