HELLO 80's

At last my first complete song made in Caustic is ready.

I wanted to catch the spirit of the 80's and I think I did.

I used a beatbox with the standard 909 and 5 subsynths, that's all.

For final master i used Audition (some EQ and fading)

Yeh! Very ' Thompson Twins '!

Yeh! Very ' Thompson Twins '!

Great synth brass sound. Any chance you could post it in the Subsynth patches area?

Thanx

Thank you for the feedback guys!
I hope this little song will inspire others to use the Subsynth more. I really like making my own sounds from scratch with basic waveforms.

Pablo64: I don't think that brass sounds good enough on its own. I created that sound while the track was playing to get it right then I added parametricEQ, chorus, reverb and delay. Well you get the point, you wouldn't even recognize it. Maybe I should upload it anyway so you can hear the difference. What do you think?

Heh, If Rej manages the majic

Heh, If Rej manages the majic act again and gets that modular in, you are in for some real fun building synths!

Looking forward to that

I have tested the pc-version and I love it. I'm looking forward to se it in the android app. But I think Caustic already is powerful enough with the 4 machines already in it. The less you got the more creative you get. It's amazing to hear how much you guys are able pack in to those 6 channels available.

Oh wait till u see whats

Oh wait till u see whats coming.... the MODSynth is only the beginning...... but seriously for the time being, i would love to see Subsynth go double..... two tones, each with their own settings, filters, ENVs etc... let you make sounds like "bell strings" or other rich more lush sounds.......

I did observe however now that i think of it that the PitchMod on the synths gives a much deeper sweep in the lowest octave and very little sweep in the upper octave, regardless of mod-waveform type..... hmmm
