hey I made more of dubstep, i guess
but i made this one as good as i could
so i think this is the best song i made yet
i hope you listen and likes it :D
it's covered in a tutorial somewhere on YouTube, by skarabee if I remember.
alls you do is feed the channel you wanna add extra fx to, into the vocoder. set the mix on the vocoder to 'dry' and mute the original channel. the signal now coming out of the vocoder should now be a replica of the original channel and its fx, giving you two more fx slots to use.
just remember to trigger the cannel on the vocoder by entering a note at the very bottom of the piano roll (whatever you've called your machine will be displayed on the grid to the right of the corresponding key) and also to enter a note somewhere above the second octave. as long as the mix is set to 'dry' it won't matter which key you choose as its just allowing the signal through.
the vocoder is an awesome piece of kit and using the method above, you can have targeted fx hits by feeding various machines through it (reverb on just every eighth snare hit or delay on only certain lead hits)
the vocoder is your friend lol
hope you work it out :-)
well vocoder WILL be my friend
and yea its kinda helpful but i need video tutorial to understand more of it lol, sorry
but by the way, thanx for the info.. ooh and also the youtuber's name (skarabee) i will find it ^-^

Always welcome. :)
do you mean only two slots in the master rack? if you mean for a synth, you can always feed it through a vocoder set to dry

Just passing on what I've picked up from others. Sharing knowledge doesn't dilute it, it strengthens it.
