Caustic Song file (optional):
Ready to set the roof on fire!!!
I had a great time arranging this track and it wasn't that challenging either.
I added a couple of tricks I've learned recently, along with all the knowledge I've already had;)
The vocal stabs are from DanSeb's remix of "5am ft Katy B(posted a while back ago).
Awesome remix btw;D
("5am" here: http://www.singlecellsoftware.com/node/7200)
Let me know what you think and I will also be glad to post the .caustic file for interested remixers!~
Once again, outstanding dude. It's like you got a fried gold factory there just churning out awesome after awesome. Would be interesting to remix this but I gotta get out of an ethnic shaped hole I'm digging myself into at the moment :-\

i liked this, its chilled but also kept me moving,i had the same thought alexei, they're aren't many tracks i hear that i can drag into this futuristic hell hole my mind seems to be stuck in, but this one made my brain say "hey guy, you could do a good remix of this if you put your mind to it"
if you'll let me of course, or at least try i've never done one before so it'll be interesting to see what its all about.

Hell yeah! That was a great future electro from you sir L!feUp.
What kind of synth you used in that electro synth/pluck?
thats one incredible beat

Have to agree with everyone else's comments here. Your tracks are just a different class in terms of polish and all round professionalism. Would love to see a .caustic file to see how you use compressors, mastering settings, automation, etc.
how did do make those rising synths at the transitions?

awesome music!
great track that ef'n kick was like someone hit the floor with a ten pound sledge absolutely heavenly :-) love it

So many thanks guys!!;)
It sure is one of my favorite tracks done so far and I'll be sure to continue making such great sounds for all to enjoy!!
All of the tricks I used are actually not that complicated to do,some of the rise effects are mostly done using automation on the pitch control (beatbox). I also used this little trick of the reverse effect which it fits perfect in the mix;)
Sometimes I rather used the beatbox for effects, that pitch control is very helpful.~
I would explain in more detail but would be better if you check out the file...
I will still be available to answer additional questions.;)
I've added the .caustic file(in original post)for demonstrations and techniques I use in some of my tracks;)
Hopefully I will hear lots of interesting remixes soon!!:D
Thanks again!

Hey L!veUp... I can hear routine in your songs... may be good.. may be bad...
♬ Aliens approaching...
Haha I may know what you mean but can you explain furthermore?;)
Also,I'm working on different style songs not just electro-future;)

May be it's the genre :D
Or that trademark-like riser sound you use every time.
It seems to me the tracks getting a little predictable.
take care of becoming too professional.. too much "the usual way".
L!feUp-construction-kit... Sorry.. I'm rude :D
just think about it from time to time...
btw...powerful mixing!
this is for the people that think I'm just jealous: "YES I AM" :D

Many thanks for posting the .caustic file. Further enhances my respect for what you're doing with Caustic. I suspected side chain compression was important. Didn't realise how important.
I love the fact you supplied the file too.
I think everyone could learn something from you.
I get where ekt is coming from, you dont wanna be too formulaic and it's easy to stick to a formula that works. But trance/techno/whatever you wanna call it IS formulaic. I do try to vary what I do so that you dont necessarily know it's me. I've done string quartet, cinematic, dnb, ethnic and with every tune I do, I learn something more about technique. But when I revert back to trance, the old habits are kinda hardwired into my DNA.
Two of my favourite edm artists are Nitrous Oxide and Mat Zo. Nitrous Oxide is very formulaic and as far as trance goes, his album Dreamcatcher takes some beating. Mat Zo is more experimental. If you listen to his earlier stuff (24
Hours/ The Lost) it's totally different to his Damage Control album. Both are brilliant.
Maybe do something that takes you way out of your comfort zone and you'll be surprised at what you learn.
Saying that, you're stuff is a cut above the norm and it's always good to hear your stuff and with every tune, there will be one or two things that I wonder how you did.
I think people are sometimes afraid of posting their files incase someone rips them off, or incase people see that it's not that complicated to do certain things (ridonk easy sometimes) but so many new users with lots of questions about how to get certain sounds out of this little app, the best thing to do I think is to lay it bare for all to see that it wasn't witchcraft, just time and hard work. Penn and Teller, Derren Brown, these are the magicians I really respect cos they're the ones saying that magic isnt real, it's just clever manipulation and time and effort. And I'm so toying with the idea of remixing this. But I'm always scared I'll break the tune and piss someone off lol

I truly respect everyone's opinion as well as taste of music and styles;)
I believe every single musician has their own way/technique in creating their music and I personally think its the key to becoming recognized.
But I also get what EKT is saying,if you stick with the same patterns from time to time,it will become useless and somewhat boring. Even for yourself too;)
My goal here is to express my inspiration and show everyone how awesome music is and how awesome Caustic is,maybe from time to time we will evolve to something new;)
♬ Lu!G
...glad you don't got me wrong :)
♬ Aliens approaching...
I think EKT was right. I've noticed it too. But I know that it was Sir L!feUp's style of music. That kind of pattern, I think, was his trademark. And also the kind of mastering he always use was originally from him. Glad to know Sir L!feUp. He gave me some inspirations on making such music here using the one and only Caustic. Cheers! :)
Inspiring words here Sir. N.V.I.V.;)
♬ Lu!G
Just want to say that you're the one who opened up my mind the importance of mastering though we're not doing the same type of mastering but still the importance of it was always on my mind. Thanks Sir L!feUp. :)
Your welcome N.V.I.V.~
Your mastering techniques are really showing on your new tracks;)
♬ Lu!G
I was comparing my tracks to an artist's track. And as I hear it, it is more nearly the same from them. But still experimenting again and again. :)
Cool groove as always..... keep it going
Hey thanks Jason glad you like it!!;D
♬ Lu!G
I will be glad to hear lots of different versions!
Will be nice to have a variety of sounds and styles;)
Go ahead and try your best!(;
♬ Lu!G
In my opinion, using sidechain compression is very important! Especially in dance music;)

Btw we miss your tunes, any new sounds lately?
♬ Lu!G
I'd buy this dude, could easily hear this getting played in a club!
I should put it on sale then...$$$;p
♬ Lu!G
I love the classic housey rythyms in this one. And when that bass kicks in...yes! Interesting discussion going on about some dance styles being too formulaic. But some beat structures and chord progressions are just really pleasing and worth recycling. I personally don't like techno to be too polished from a production standpoint. But bottom line, I enjoyed this track, and the artist enjoyed creating. win/win.
I appreciate your positive feedback;)
I'm still wondering why are you so unknown?
♬ Lu!G
Awesome as usual LifeUp! Sorry I missed this, especially as I get a mention / link! (And thanks for the kind comment) Not sure I would have noticed it was Katy B had you not mentioned it, but it's instantly recognisable once you know!
It's great to have a look around your Caustic file, and fascinating to see how you go about your production. Nice to see the organ get some use, it's something I never think of using. Thanks for sharing.
Loving the track - can't help but move to it, I'm guessing the hefty amount of sidechaining is partly responsible for that! Great work
My Soundcloud
How do I remix this?
Thanks a lot DanSeb!
I would say sidechain is a great way to keep the track in motion and the best way to keep your body in motion as well;p
Glad to have you back again!
Lexand3r you can download the .caustic file from the original post and you can either use my file to construct your remix or use a different file and import the original track stems to use for the remix;)
