Welcome to my house, get comfortable, and enjoy the file download.

Caustic Song file (optional):

So, I woke up in the mood to make some proper smooth house.

Enjoy my weirdness.

Updated with a few additional loop variations, a couple of extra instruments, and cavalclade of volume adjustments. But, I feel as though it's still some proper smooth downtempo house.

Enjoy my updated weirdness.

Updated the update with the addition of the song file. Well, most of it. I removed one instrument to keep my songs mine. So, there's no congos. To sequence them; I used to the congos found in EIPSO Jungle sound pack's jungle drum kit. Don't ever think his genre specific sound packs can only be used for one genre.

Enjoy my updated update and my weirdness.

Ah, that rolling bass is fantastic. And once again, meticulously programmed drums. Does actually remind me of the Detroit stuff of origin

Thanks! Slapped my face and

Thanks! Slapped my face and some words on that picture a while back. I cropped out the part that says, "My salsa makes all the pretty girls want to dance and take off their underpants." The 120 bpm is what makes it vibey. (First read that as Vibert.) 116-123 is good downtempo bpm. It just didn't sound right any faster or slower. Detroit house/techno has always been my top house preference. Even above Naked Music NYC.

The drum sequences. :) I always forget about all of the hi hats on the jazzy drum pcm preset. But, the amen, followed by the Sesame Street, break are in the hats. The amen congas are with the EIPSO Jungle Drum Kit pcm preset. Each of those breaks are just a four measure template for placing sequence strikes. Each individual measure, or two, can also be used as a backbeat. My sequences seem so erratic and, yet, controlled because of the patterns I layer into the templates. I do the same with my drawings. Everything should compliment without overshadowing. There must be points of reference to make it flow. More like a locking-stone archway. The center piece only looks to be for more form than function.

I can brain today! Maybe I'll start a new track...something slow, dark, and methodical.

I have a little bit of class.

I have a little bit of class. I even stick my pinky out when drinking beer without even thinking about it! Well, that's only because my wrist was crushed in a car accident and it's kind of always like that. But, dammit, it's classy.

Glad you enjoyed it.

There was more effort than

cheeky

There was more effort than usual put into it.  Around three times the amount of pattern sequences my songs have.  Seven instruments as well.  Five is what most of my best work uses.

I'm trying to sell a few songs, on https://andyzamoron.bandcamp.com , so I can't let all of my work out. You'll still be able to see how I did it...without the bongos. I've made sixty-six cents, so far!
