I've been playing around with the shuffle settings to get an even more broken beat. Does it sound too much like a three legged horse trotting on a gymnasium floor? There are zero song animations in this, yet. So, please, excuse the mess. There's twelve instruments used and I, generally, use no more than seven.
Different version added. Give it a relisten.
Wave one of animations are complete & one more instrument was added. Now, for the final touches.
Enjoy my updated weirdness.
Another version has been added. Yet, still, it is not done. I've never worked on a song this much. Five days seems not long. But, considering that I work incredibly fast, eight hours or more daily is quite a bit. I've plans to break its monotony by adding a few drum change ups. Not dramatic ones. Just enough small ones to hold the listener's attention. Like switching between the amen & Sesame Street break's segments. ;)
So, please, give this version a listen and let me know how it's coming along.
Enjoy my updated update weirdness.
Updated update updated with the completed track. The preview is still there, for comparison, as well.
Enjoy my weirdness.
This three legged horse is really cool.
Aint nothing wrong with a three legged animal dude. Ann and Andy got a three legged dog in parks&rec and he's the coolest dog in the world.
Music is like vision dude. We make a lot of it up. Something that can sound outta place actually fits in nicely in the bigger picture, like a Monet, or slightly misplaced notes. I use a bit of reversed percussion in my tunes and it sounds a bit randomly placed, but it works with the whole thing. This is a great track. The only way this would sound horsey is if you put a few winnies in there, but don't do that

Wow...... this is really nice..... this quickly becomes one of my favorite AndyZ tracks to date.....
yeah I think I have to agree, this is my fave to date...the pic i had while listening, lots of robots, spinning around in space, all in pairs, doing wild gyroscopic orbits, some have their programming in meltdown, some pairs are playing droughts ( checkers )... anyway, this is a great piece, love it...

Wicked cool;)
Sounds like you sampled the heck out of all 14 pcms!
And still managed to end up with a clean mastered sound;)

Thanks y'all. It's busy & erratic, yes. Being as he saw the bigger picture; Wellsley nailed it. I had pictured it similarly. More as one robot with all components working harmoniously. All thirteen slots were tuned to be individually heard. That's mainly what took so many hours. A slow phaser, with very little feedback, on the master control helped.
All it takes is one sound to set me off. This one began with the pearlz preset that starts at seven seconds. Thanks, again, Jason.

I'm about to post one that I started a couple of days ago. Between editing this one. My downtempo (>125) techno-industrial seem to be turning out decently, as of late. Well, because no matter what type of music I make seems to have an underlying malevolence. Good techno should always be dark. So, if I've got it, why not use it? I'll collaborate any time. Just know that I have to work fast. Otherwise, what is hear in my mind will get lost in the woods. Well, that is, without bread crumbs.

The non-dark side of techno tastes like good cake or a really cheesy pizza.
The light side of techno better be good cake not cheese pizza. :D
One of my first self-set rules was to make everything balanced with fast and slow. I've listened to this well enough; to have changed up both parts enough to hold interest.

It was very trippy that time slowed down. Horses were moving slow tapping on beat. The floor seemed to tilt diagonally and things started to get all dizzy.
Just an average day in Andyland.
I've hypersensitive hearing. The complexity of this song is what it sounds like, to me, in a busy market. Except that everything is not so harmonious. Ear buds help. A couple of nights ago I awoke from a dead sleep because the refrigerator started making ice cubes. It had me convinced that someone was trying to break in. The refrigerator is two rooms away (10 m) and my bedroom door was closed. The thing about ADHD is that people often think we cannot pay attention to anything. It's actually the opposite of that. We pay attention to everything. It becomes overwhelming and we blunder.
Sorry, Tangent-man strikes again!
