Sounds good run thru some kind of modulating effect into a mild distortion FX (Saturate) adjust filter height, rate, an LFO Depth (Automate record this)

Run rich through reverb, with slight pitch modulation, gives a nice harp sound. You can use automation to tweak LPF heights for filter mod work for techno or trance like tracks or other ambient or completely original pieces. Great for 8th note arp runs.
An FM-style bellpad. Add sum lush reverb with long tail and almost no damping, and you will get a nice stereophonic swirl effect. This can be good for fills or backround "lead" sounds.
